School Environment Introduction Program (MPLS) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

SD Negeri 001 Babulu held a School Environment Introduction Program (MPLS) for new first-grade students from July 14 to 16, 2025. A total of 42 new students enthusiastically participated in a series of activities designed to introduce them to the school environment, rules and regulations, school culture, and members of the school community.

The MPLS program was officially opened with a speech by the Babulu District Elementary School Supervisor, Mrs. Samnor Janah, S.Pd., M.M. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of MPLS as an initial step in shaping students’ character and fostering their enthusiasm for learning from an early age. She also highlighted the important roles of teachers and parents in supporting children throughout their adaptation to elementary school.

Following the opening remarks, the Principal of SD Negeri 001 Babulu, Mr. Sutrisno, S.Pd., M.M., delivered guidance and motivation to all new students. He warmly welcomed the first-grade students as new members of the SDN 001 Babulu family and expressed his hope that they would grow into individuals with strong moral values, intelligence, and a spirit of achievement.

The next speech was delivered by the Chair of the MPLS Committee, Mr. Sutiono, S.Pd., S.D., who explained the technical implementation of the three-day MPLS program. He explained that the activities had been designed to be enjoyable and educational so that students would feel comfortable in their new environment. Several activities included introducing classrooms, getting to know teachers and school staff, and participating in educational games designed to develop teamwork and independence.

The MPLS program was directly guided by teachers from SD Negeri 001 Babulu, who had carefully prepared the materials and adapted their approach to the students’ age and developmental needs. Through interactive and enjoyable activities, students learned to get acquainted with their new friends, understand school rules, and begin developing confidence in communicating and interacting with others.

The MPLS activities took place in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. The new students appeared excited to participate in every session. Parents also provided valuable moral support by ensuring their children’s attendance and readiness throughout the program. With the collaborative spirit of everyone involved, this year’s MPLS program was successfully and smoothly carried out.

Through the implementation of MPLS, SD Negeri 001 Babulu hopes that the new students will be better prepared to face their upcoming learning journey. The program serves as a positive starting point for developing resilient and competitive students. The 2025–2026 academic year is also expected to become a positive momentum for the continued growth and achievements of the school.
